Howard Stern’s appeal to Jesse to be a guest on his Sirius Radio paid off, as ‘The Body’ was on the show this morning. Jesse discussed an angle proposal he sent to Vince McMahon for WrestleMania XXIV. Ventura wanted Vince to announce that WWE would get into politics because he did not like the current candidates and ask WWE fans to organize a campaign to get the WWE Party on every state ballot.
When WWE is on all states ballots, Vince would announce himself candidate and then Jesse would come to say he wouldn’t allow that. This feud would blow off at WrestleMania where the winner would become the WWE candidate. Ventura would win the match, become the candidate and run a real campaign for presidency. Jesse said that Vince never responded and that Vince will regret that because Navy Seals do not get mad, they get even.
After the Smackdown Rebound and the Shane McMahon and Todd Grisham backstage segment, Mae Young came out for the Kiss-Cam for the live audience. She ended up attacking the referee and making her own kiss-cam in the end.
The Wrestling Observer reports that WWE has added actor, Freddy Prinze Jr., reportedly a big WWE fan, to their creative team. Freddy began work at this week’s RAW and the SNME tapings. Vince and Stephanie McMahon are hoping that hiring Freddie Prinze Jr. for the creative team will open more doors in Hollywood. The McMahons are also hoping that Sarah Michelle Geller will do an angle for the company at some point. Prince is best known for his hit comedy, “She’s All That”, “I Know What You Did Last Summer”, both “Scooby Doo” movies and being the lucky husband of Sarah Michelle Geller. Prince was introduced to everyone at RAW last night and people seemed impressed with how excited he was about working for WWE.
Can anyone else see a “WWE Robot Chicken” special coming around the corner?
